National Art Workshop for Adult Artists.

These talented, sharing art instructors have been working with workshop artists for a number of years and will work closely with each artist to enhance their artistic abilities. The workshop will have a combination of studio and plein air sessions. Each session will expand on the lectures given at the beginning of the week.Time will be spent on color theroy, composition, brushwork and enhancing each artists "ability to see". The instructors will help you bring emotion and harmony to your paintings.

This year's workshop will have a segment to work with lighting techniques and the progression of light on objects as well as discuss the quality of light. We will talk about penumbra area of paintings, which addresses the middle tones and spaces between light and shadow. We will spend time working on the design(black and white)for a painting.
